Global-Climate-Skeptics on Denial or Dismissal

Global-Climate-Skeptics take part in the climate change controversy by either denying or dismissing the scientific opinions on global warming, involving the extent to which it is caused by humans, its impacts on nature, and on human society.

Skeptic groups are being supported by media and the internet, and in 2015, a report said that oil companies knowing since the 1970s that the burning of oil and gas was the cause of greenhouse gas emissions responsible for climate change, had funded deniers of Global Warming for years. Also a study done in 2015 found that 4,556 individuals, have network ties to 164 organizations that are responsible for downplaying the threat of climate change in the U.S.

Global-Climate-Skeptics will deny there is no global warming and that there is no climate change taking place, while some others who accept global warming, will say it's only due to natural causes and not by human activities. Some will even say it is harmless and beneficial, and some organizations are saying that scientists are rejecting climate change.

But a research showing that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists, agree that global warming trends have occurred over the last century, and that they are extremely due to human activities. Leading scientific organizations worldwide, have made public statements endorsing this scientific consensus.

Response to Climate Change

Responses to climate change include, mitigation (the action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions), adaptation, and building systems that are resilient to it's effects.  Climate engineering has been investigated, as a possible response by NASA and the Royal Society Techniques, but in 2014 a study concluded that climate engineering methods were either ineffective, or had severe side effects.

Solutions for future reductions in emissions, can be accomplished by using a combination of activities such as the use of low-carbon energy technologies, by reforestation, and by preventing deforestation.

The use of alternative energies such as, Solar, Wind, Hydropower, the use of Hybrid Vehicles, Biomass, Geothermal, Marine Energy etc:, could all have positive effects on climate change.

Solar Energy can provide heating, electricity and cooling, is renewable, and is a predictable intermittent energy source produced by the sun, which can also be stored and converted into electricity at high or low temperatures.

Wind Energy is another form of clean, environment friendly, and an inexhaustible power source that can also be stored, and converted into electricity. Both solar and wind can be combined with the Utility Grid to save money and energy.

The replanting of trees is replenishing our forests and is insuring and preserving our Ecosystems, along with less deforestation and more controlled land developments. Instead off skepticism, we can learn to adapt and do what we can to mitigate the effects of global warming by doing our share in reducing and  lowering the emissions of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

Through controversy, global-climate-change has finally gotten most world leaders to honor their commitments, and most of the world is united since the 2016 Paris Agreement, they also have agreed to work together to solve this crisis. Though there are some skeptics, most countries believe the opinions of the publishing climate scientists, and they want to make our planet a safer and cleaner place to live.
